when You should allow Visitors to see the baby

Hi Moms
Congratulations on being a mom now. I know this is a very exciting phase and people like your family and friends are very interested to watch you and your baby.

Don’t allow anyone except some family members to visit in the hospital. When you go back to your home and relax then invite your friends and rest of the family member to visit. It is OK to give your newborn to them but there are some rules you must follow and share with your family members. So that they know when to give your baby and how to give.

Use Of Sanitizer OR Handwash
Allow everyone to visit and say kindly wash your hands or use sanitizers when they come from outside. Don’t allow them near to your baby as it will be harmful to your little one.

If anyone has any kind of cold or flu just strictly say sorry and don’t allow them to be near to the newborn. Say please avoid for someday and when you will be fine you can hold my baby. You can say, I just want my baby to be safe and healthy.

Make sure no one sneeze or a cough near your baby. You should be alert whenever people come to visit your place.

If Anyone smoke
Be strict with those who do smoking and don’t allow them to smoke anywhere in the house the toxins may be going through your baby via breathing. So be careful with those.

If your baby is premature
In that case, strictly avoid anyone to visit your baby friends. That will affect your baby’s health like hell. Don’t allow for at least one month.

Check your baby to survive first and wait for some time to make them healthy then only you can allow visitors to your place to come and watch and hold.

Don’t allow many people to come
The newborn is not used to of hold by many people. They can get scared of everyone’s lap. They only know your touch at once friends.

So make sure there are not too many people come at once and hold your baby for so long. This is a must thing you should take care of.

  1. My sister is having her second around Dec 20th. And my husband and I were legit going to visit like THAT DAY but…… I think we may hold off until February because it may be way tooooo overwhelming for her!

  2. I dont have children, but I've had family members and friends who just had their babies. And I know the importance in limiting visitors to protect the babes at their tender age.

  3. I remember having to think about that when my baby was born. Although it was crazy my daughter was just a month and we went out on a trip together. Thankfully she dealt with it quite well.
