Morning Sickness home Remedies during pregnancy

Hey Everyone

Morning Sickness is a common problem of all pregnant women. This actually happens when you feel nausea or vomiting when getting up in the morning.

The reason behind this sickness is acid formation while sleeping. you have your dinner and then sleep for 8 hours of the gap that’s a lot actually that’s why acid forms and you start feeling nausea.
I am also gone through this phase but I tried many things to handle it.

There are some home remedies too you can try at home. You will definitely feel improvement.

The first thing you should do is just eat something first you get up in the morning. It can sprout with some lemon and salt or anything.

Don’t wait for a long after you get up. Have your breakfast early that has its words “Break The Fast”. If not then you should take at least something in your mouth.

There are few home remedies You can try-

1. Lemon
You can have lemon water in the morning. That actually makes you feel better. You can have lemon water with honey too. If you don’t want to drink then you can only smell the lemon that will also make you feel good.
2. Ginger
You should take ginger in your foods. You can chew small ginger or take ginger tea or ginger candy. That is very good for digestion. It will control your acidic nature.
3. Peppermint
Similarly, you can have peppermint in your daily food. You can chew some mint leaves as it is. You can have peppermint tea or just add peppermint to your food items. That will also make you feel better.

4. Sprouts
Have sprouts in your breakfast daily. Daily means have one handful at least daily that will again make your acidity in control.
5. Almonds
There should not be a long gap between your meals. That gap actually increases the acidity in your stomach. So try to have almonds in between meals.
6. Cloves
Have some cloves daily. Chew cloves and it will make your digestion good and control acidity. You can fry cloves and add some honey and have it.
7. Fruits
You can have some fruits like Kiwi, Banana, and Orange. These fruits you can have as it is or make a shake or juices. But only have fresh juices.
These are few things you can do at home and they will definitely make you feel good while nausea or morning sickness.
Thank You

  1. These are all great options. I had to end up getting a prescription for something because nothing seemed to help. I do find that now that I'm not pregnant that ginger is the best use for nausea.

  2. I had bad morning sickness with my first. I wish I would have found this list way back then, the mornings were pretty rough. I ended up getting a prescription of zofran unfortunately

These are such a brilliant tips! I didn't know these before when I'm pregnant with my daughter. This is a big help for those new pregnant mom.

  4. Ginger and lemon is a universal remedy for nausea. I don't have children so I have never experienced morning sickness, but your advice on natural nausea remedies is very welcome.
